New Info

Well to start off we now have a home phone (843-808-0470). It is run off our computer and we just got better internet so hopefully it will work better.

Tiffany starts school Monday and will be teaching Ant and Phys Lect MW -9-10:55 and Labs W 12:30-3:20 and T 4:15-7. I am very nervous but now that I have presentations that I just have to alter I think that I will feel better about it. I have found a teacher friend here and she is excited about helping me do this. I think once I get one semester under my belt I will be good to go.

Scott has one semester under his belt already. ( I cant believe it, it just seems like yesterday we decided to move). I know out of 6 or 7 classes he has 4 A's. We will see what the others end up being.

We are very excited to be going to Charleston this weekend for a mini vacation with the parents. We will post pictures when we get back.

Hugs and kisses

Life in the MB in the last couple weeks

Well Tiffany will be finishing up her resort (Kids Club) and will begin working at the Spa full time beginning in April. Tiffany also will be teaching Biology 112 Lab and Medical Terminology at Horry Georgetown Tech College. Scott on the other hand will be finishing up at Lids this week and will be starting at Bobby Chans tomorrow.

Peanut has become somewhat of a big boy and has been staying out of his kennel during the day with only a few accidents every now and then.

Scott is almost done with his first semester and we will celebrate that by going to Charleston in a few weeks with his parents. We are so excited to see them and to spend some vacation time not studying or working. We wanted to thank everyone for their support so far in this adventure. We are really beginning to fill like a family.

We have found a new hobby that we can do together and with some friends. Some of the local resturants here have trivia on different nights of the week and we will go have dinner and hang out and try and win trivia. We have come close a couple of times but havent won yet.

We have lost the cords to both of our cameras so it might be a while before we can upload some pictures.

Job News

Well for as most of you know Tiffany had 2 interviews on Tuesday. One was with Cinzia Spa for an exercise Phys job. Lets just say I dont think this one will happen until the company changes their mind about how this job will work. They were wanting me to own my own business and work from inside their building. I just dont think it will be a big money maker position. I left straight from that interview and went to the YMCA to apply for the new building that is opening up a mile from our house. The lady over the fitness department called me back that day to let me know they only have part time positions open. She did let it slip that there will be a Sports Director position opening soon and that she would give me a call when that does open! (Yea possibility). Then on Tuesday I went and had my interview with Horry-Georgetown Tech College. I got that job but have no details yet since the lady I was suppose to meet with was called out of town for an emergency. I will be turning in my paperwork to the school today. So some good news is finally coming our way. Thanks for all the prayers!

Update with Scott and his job. He was being trained to be a keyholder but was asked to work 40 hour weeks. This is just not feisable with the amount of school work that he is about to start having including projects and papers. He has applied at a store in the Market Common area (beautiful - might I add) making double what he is making at Lids and he would work max 30 hour weeks. We are praying this and anyone that would like to continue to pray for us please do so about this.

Again, I just wanted to say a major Thanks for all the love and support our family and friends have given us on this adventure. It really helps to know that we are in Gods hands and are loved by many.

Craziness

Ok well sorry I havent posted in a while. Things have been crazy at this Clayton household. Tiffany has been working 14-15 hour days and Scott has been dealing with his kidney stones and midterms. He has been doing very well in school so far and we hope he keeps it up. We have been enjoying our company and just trying to live life and actually see each other.

For the 4th Scott had to work and Tiffany went to watch some fireworks with some girls in the apartment complex. Scott is actually moving up on the work chain and again and is being trained as a keyholder/manager.

We will be traveling to Alabama this weekend for Meagans wedding if Scott is feeling ok and we are so excited to see family and friends. Peanut just doesnt know what he is in for again.. poor thing. Hopefully things will calm down and I will be able to keep posting about new things going on in our lives.

Random

Tiffany finally found a full time job and as of right now it is only temporary but that will do. I am working at Compass Cove Oceanview Resort as part of the recreation staff. I work with kids ages 5-12 doing beach activities as well as crafts daily. I am still working at BBW and will continue working as many hours there as I can so Scott does not have to work a bunch and he can focus on his schooling. Scott is still working at Lids so I guess God finally put us where we are suppose to be and we can finally settle down and not worry like we had been.

Well to save some money, Scott bought some clippers and we decided that I would cut his hair. What can I say that was an adventure. I have attached some pictures below of me with the clippers and the aftermath. I thought I did a good job and was proud of myself.

We will keep everyone updated on everything that is going on with us.

Anniversary

Well as I hope you all know yesterday was our anniversary. I cant believe that we have already made it a year. Let me tell you it has been a year of struggle, trial, excitement and love. Yesterday started off with Tiffany going into her new work to fill out paperwork so that she could start promptly on Monday. (Will explain more about this later). Then I came home and Scott was served breakfast in bed. Why not right... I was the one that was already up. We packed up the car and headed to the beach. Scott got a boogie board for our anniversary and can I say that every dollar spent on that thing probably came out yesterday. We were on the beach for about 3 and a half hours and I think he was in the water playing on it for 3 of that. After we got tired of being in the sun we came home and got dressed for dinner... which I had no clue where we were going. We then got in the car and Scott drove us to Broadway at the Beach which is our favorite hang out spot. He took me to a Japanese Steak and Sushi bar... I love those. I was so excited. After we ate it was time for the biggest competition we have as a couple. ... Putt Putt, and again I was beating Scott until the 10th hole then it all went down hill from there. While still upset from losing again we decided to walk around Broadway. Wow I did not realize how big that place really was. We were walking around and saw the the character drawings. So we had to have one done. We had a great day and look forward to many many more anniversaries.
Scott showing off the scorecard since we forgot to take pictures while we were playing.
After dinner

Here is the wonderful picture we had made of us. The girl doing it thought it was funny that our shirts were opposite of our eyes.

Day in the life in Myrtle Beach

This past Sunday Scott and I took some time to ourselves and went to enjoy the beach scene. We are trying out different places for when our family and friends come to visit (wink wink). It was a beautiful day and we both got fried. We were able to throw Frisbee which brings back memories for the both of us. Scott decided to do a photo shoot in the water. I have added some of the pictures below. You can tell who is more afraid of the salt water!

I keep calling this my Bay Watch Husband! He cracks me up when he does this.

This was actually a good picture of Scott getting lost in the huge waves we were having that day. Not to mention the day before someone drowned in rip current and two days before 4 people almost did. So needless to say we were not going out very far at all.

Should I mention again... I hate having salt water in my face.

I do not know if all the fun and excitement in the water made my bottoms bigger or the multiple times they were almost ripped off by the waves. I had to finish playing while holding on to my bottoms! (I thought this one was cool because you can see the water coming through my arm.)

I went for another interview yesterday. This one was for Elliot Realty, doing Beach Rental Reservations. Everyone there seems really nice and the owner is really cool. I am praying that I get this job or that God will lead me in the direction of the job I am suppose to have. I have been feeling like I have let Scott down and not supporting him like I promised I would do. Luckily I have a great and loving husband who is standing behind me 100% of the way and is just encouraging me instead of downing me. I think we have already become so much closer as a couple than we were 2 months ago. We are standing by each others side and being there not only in the easy but also the most difficult times.

Scott starts his Lids job tonight and he is excited. I do not think any other retail place could fit him better.... hats and sports.... if that isn't Scott I don't know what is.

I have added some pictures of our baby because he was filling left out. I think more people know Peanut here than Scott and I.

Can you say spoiled.... Laying watching me on the computer, with his favorite toys.

These were taken the first day he went to the beach. He loved it and was scared all at the same time. It was pretty funny to watch him but not to wash him that night.

I just wanted to end by saying thanks for all the prayers, emails, text, and calls last week. It really helped to know that so many people care.
